David Rozman client Kelly explains why she needed a new perspective on her hair, and how a full works cut and colour has given her the confidence she needed.
My David Rozman Experience – From no volume, to full volume (Kelly’s story)
I can honestly say I’ve never been entirely happy with my hair. But since turning 40 my hair worries have become more acute. My hair is what you would describe as thin, flyaway and very soft. It’s difficult to keep in a tidy style, it won’t hold curl or wave. It’s boring, flat, lifeless and lacks dimension. My hair’s only saving grace is its shine.
I have always kept my hair longish, an easy but perhaps a little lazy style, but over the years I have been quite bold with colour, trying brunette, copper and even a silvery grey. But all this was perhaps over-compensating for the fact that I had simply lost my way with my hair style.
A new perspective
Despite being happy with my previous hairdresser I decided that what I really needed was a new hair perspective. I had heard great things about David Rozman, and from the moment I stepped into the hair salon I could see why. I was made to feel very welcome and after a consultation, and a coffee, I knew instinctively that I was in good hands, and I was keen for David and the team to get creative on my hair.
Colour & Cut
Guy got to work on my colour. A full head of highlights, root lift, and toner to complement my naturally fair hair but add warmth, richness and shine. A treatment was also used to add strength to my fine hair.
Then David took over, taking me out of my comfort zone and giving me a soft blunt bob to frame my face, give my style some structure and volume, and keep me on trend for 2020 – there’s no reason you can’t look fierce and fabulous in your 40’s! David finished with styling products to enhance the cut and keep the volume all day, but there was no hard sell, just friendly advice.
I am delighted with my new look, I feel more confident and it’s easy to maintain – something that is very important to me as I run my own business, as well as being always on hand for my two children, there is really little time in my hectic schedule for heavy duty hair styling.
They call it the ‘Hair Experience’ and I can see why. It was such a treat. I felt pampered and very relaxed. The atmosphere in the salon is lively and friendly, I felt they were truly invested in helping me get the best hair experience possible.
